Terms & conditions
Please ensure you read the criteria for the awards you are entering. Remember to use evidence such as quotes, and statistics and include as much information as possible in the entry portal form within the 200-word limit.
Entries should relate to innovations undertaken between the previous year of the award scheme date and onwards.
All completed entries will be acknowledged online at the time of submission and a confirmation email will be sent containing details of your entry/entries. Please check all the details of your confirmation email and contact us if you have any queries.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into or feedback given regarding the selection of shortlisted nominations or winners.
FoodBev Media reserve the right to extend the closing deadline and amend categories. We also reserve the right to shorten entry titles for the purpose of the awards presentation and winner’s trophies. Please try and keep your entry title concise and to the point.
All submissions must be made online. Once entries are submitted, they will go forward for judging.
Entries must be paid before the judging date. Entries not paid for will be taken out of the judging process and therefore, the awards.
All cancellations need to be received in writing within 7 days of your entry or by 5pm (GMT) on the deadline day, whichever is soonest. Cancellations after this date cannot be accepted therefore refunds can’t be issued and any outstanding invoices will remain payable. Entries made through the request of invoice rather than payment by credit card will not be included in the judging process if the invoice remains unpaid on the deadline day. However, the invoice remains payable if the cancellation criteria above have not been met.
After the entry deadline entries cannot be withdrawn, and refunds cannot be given.
All entries must be supplied and conform to rules/submission formats.
Any entries containing offensive material or false claims will be disqualified.
Additional fees may apply for postage of samples, trophies, and promotional materials as part of your entry/outcome into our awards. Trophies will be handed out at winners' ceremonies at no additional charge, additional fees apply for trophy postage.

The Plant-Based Taste Awards
Please ensure to read the criteria for the Plant-Based Taste Awards. The following terms apply to entries into The Plant-Based Taste Awards 2025 only.
All products entered must be:

Plant-based / vegan

Made for human consumption

Available to purchase (online, in-store, or elsewhere) between June 1 and November 21.

Available to be delivered by the entrant to a judge’s address at FoodBev Media Ltd’s request (this may be an international delivery) between June 1 and November 21

The results given at the end of the awards are final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into regarding the final selections.
FoodBev Media Ltd reserves the right to extend any deadline dates and amend categories and groups. We also reserve the right to shorten entry titles for the purpose of the awards presentation and any communications (including the Plant-based Taste Awards Directory, newsletters, articles, trophies etc.).

Once 'Approved', refunds cannot be given.
Entries paid for by card must be completed before submission. Entries not paid for will be taken out of the judging process and therefore, the awards.
Entries made through the request of invoice rather than payment by card will not be included in the judging process if the invoice remains unpaid. However, the invoice remains payable if the cancellation criteria above have not been met. Outstanding payments will be considered within the ‘Approval’ stage.
Once the entrant has submitted and their product has been ‘Approved’, the entrant's payment is non-refundable.

Official Plant-Based Taste Awards judges who are unable to access the entrant’s product may request samples. In this case, FoodBev Media Ltd will contact the entrant to deliver samples to the judge’s specified address.
If an entered product is not available to the public, then the products’ public vote will be 0.
FoodBev Media Ltd reserve the right to cancel any awards, ceremonies (live or online), and/or submissions at any time.
